ChaosTrend Ltd is Swansea’s premier games development studio and we strive to make games that don’t suck big hairy ones! (harder than you think) The core team consists of four former Metropolitan University members that have obtained degrees in programming and game design. The founder members of ChaosTrend are; Darren Adams, Russell Drodge, John Franklin, and Ian Malsbury.

To date the team have released three iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch games, four commercial PC games, three of which were game commissions for local companies and a heritage trust. There are some free flash games on our site which are available for anyone to play and give to their friends. Our current projects will be released on the iPhone and more information will be available when the game is nearer completion. Our PC/Wii based puzzle platformer called ‘Fuzzums’ is still on hold until we get more art staff in the house, so keep an eye out for further information.

We at ChaosTrend have an official Nintendo Wii Developer status which means we are able to produce games for one of the most popular family game consoles around at the moment. We also have the iPhone developer kit and are feverishly working on some cracking little titles which are coming soon. All in all our gears are running and the engine is purring like a bit cat.

Other than the great game development work we do, ChaosTrend is an accomplished software developer and has completed many non-game related projects, including bespoke integrated software for a sports rehabilitation machine. Plus we are working hard producing some amazing 3D technology for use in all visual media that doesn’t require special hardware or the need for glasses. We can’t say more than that due to legal repercussions if we divulge confidential information, but we can say it is pretty awesome.

We will be adding games to the list as we go along and encourage any budding developers who have made flash games to contact us.
